For more than 65 years, Ottawa Gymnastics Centre has helped children and youth build confidence, strength, and lifelong skills through affordable gymnastics programs. Today, the future of our location at 294 Elmgrove Avenue is uncertain, and we need your support.

The City of Ottawa has advised OGC that our current facility cannot remain in use beyond June 30, 2027. We want to reassure you that OGC programs will continue to operate as usual. Our current lease remains in place until June 30, 2027, and all recreational, competitive, camp, and other programming will continue as planned.

There is no immediate impact on our athletes, families, or daily operations.  However, without a long-term facility solution, thousands of families could face reduced access to gymnastics programs, longer travel times, and fewer opportunities for children to participate in sport close to home.

We are asking the City of Ottawa to work with OGC to identify a sustainable long-term solution that allows gymnastics to remain accessible in central Ottawa.

With the municipal election underway, OGC has invited candidates to share their views on community sport, recreation facilities, and access to programming in Ottawa's urban core. Responses received to date are available on our website for members' information. OGC does not endorse any candidate and encourages families to review the responses and participate in the election.
